NFT Market Place: The term non-fungible tokens means that items cannot be replaced with another NFT. For example, an exclusive trading card is an NFT — you don’t simply replace it with other cards. The value of the card changes if it’s traded for something else.

This is different from fungible items that are almost identical with each other. If you trade a bitcoin for another, you are almost automatically in the same position as you started, for example.

The NFT marketplace will dominate the crypto market by 2021 and NFTs will emerge as a whole new asset class. NFT marketplaces, simply stated, provide an e-commerce platform where NFT tokens can be bought, sold, and traded.

Below we have identified the top five NFT marketplaces that serve the growing sector of NFT investors and enthusiasts who are looking to invest in one of today’s most high-profile asset classes.

The list concludes with these at the bottom.

Enjin Marketplace (NFT Market Place)

Enjin is the official marketplace for Enjin based NFTs. Users can discover, buy, and sell NFTs from Enjin’s web interface, as well as from it’s native Enjin wallet. It was possibly the first online marketplace.

Enjin offers a native token to customers, but they will need ETH to complete a transaction.

Rarible (NFT Market Place)

In addition to minting and marketplace services, they offer a governance token called the RARI, which allows users to vote on important matters. Users can keep the newly minted tokens, give them as gifts, and sell them on the marketplace.

Sells can create multiple NFTs for each image and sell them all at once or distribute just a single item which is considered rarer. Additionally, artists can set a percentage to receive on lifetime resales.

NFT wares can be used to build a portfolio. Some buyers build personal collections of art they enjoy, whilst others build collections of art they see as having long-term value.

Super Rare (NFT Market Place)

Super rare is a new-fangled marketplace that specializes in digital art. The platform features a simplfied experience, social profiles, mobile apps, live auctions, extended payment options and improved management.

Founded by John Crain, Chief Executive of Pixura, and Jonathan Perkins, Chief Product Officer at Pixura. SuperRare works with artists from day one, and listens to the needs of both artists and collectors.

One might argue that SuperRare is a more exclusive version of Rarible. Artists cannot sell their work unless it has been sanctioned, while on rarible it does not require getting approval beforehand.

Decentraland

A Decentraland is an informal digital marketplace — it’s considered a completely decentralized virtual environment. Users are able to purchase plots of land, which are non-fungible unique digital assets, that they can take over and develop. This information includes information about the location of the document, its owner, and the description of its contents.

Atomic Assets

The Atomic Hub Atomic Assets sub-section has a familiar layout with the marketplace listings listed by NFTs such as Street Fighter, Cog, and Blockchain Heroes. Users must register for WAX cloud wallet or else use Anchor/Scatter.

The WAX blockchain has already announced that it has staked a serious claim on the NFT sector with their successful sales of campaigns with brands such as Star Wars, Street Fighter and Topps already completed throughout 2020.

SOCIAL NFTs

Social NFTs give anyone who has a social media platform a chance to create and sell NFTs from their everyday post. You can sell a clip of your story, a meme, a selfie, or a piece of art you created. No programming knowledge needed, we do the hard part while you do the easy part.

Buy Social NFT’s of your favourite social media personalities, your favourite artists, celebrities, tattoo artists, photographers and own some of the awesome items they have created. You can display your collection on your SOCIAL Book or sell them when the value increases.
